| Details: | Enchanted Soul is hosting its first poetry event, Literary Art: Mountain Poetry to stay true to bridging the gaps in our local community through The Arts.
Due to the polarizing nature of our society (i.e. war, genocide, racism, extreme and sensational politics, nationwide & global hunger, and the current devastation to 1,000s of families due to climate change effects, in addition to a still present global pandemic), everyday countrymen and women are inundated by a plethora of extremes in our lifetime. The latter coupled with this time of year in which most Americans experience a mental health decline (due to inclement weather, isolation, lack of support, and other factors,) calls on Enchanted Soul to deliver the effort and energy to brace the local community for impact and to provide moments of respite to catch our collective breath as a community.
This event along with others hosted this season by Enchanted Soul will serve the community with real-time pleasant and enchanting moments to counter the everyday humdrum of polarizing stimuli.
Admission to this event is by a suggested $5/person donation per poetry session- each of the 4 sessions lasting 45-50 minutes in total. New Mexico-based artists/poets will recite their work, or others’ with appropriate credit to the original artist/poet, or they will perform their poetry “Spoken Word” style. |
