| Details: | Riders for Striders Charity Adventure Motorcycle Ride is in its 9th year of providing Strider Bikes to kids around the Central Indiana area. To date, we've donated well over 200 Striders!! This year the bikes will continue to go to Gigi's Playhouse- A Down Syndrome Achievement Center in Indy. Gigi runs "learn to bike" camps and is able to send the Striders home with the students after the camp thanks to generous attendees of the ride. Additionally, we have donated two sets of "All Kids Bike" programs to local elementary schools. "All Kids Bike" makes learning to ride a bike part of kindergarten PE class.
The ride is around 200 miles on back forest roads pavement, gravel roads, and dirt. Lunch is included this year with your ticket.
Friday and Saturday night primitive camping is available for $5 per night. RVs are welcome, but no power hookups. Generators welcome. Showers, kitchen, and grill available. Breakfast and dinner Saturday will be available for a suggested donation. |
