Details:Fall in Central Massachusetts & Old Sturbridge Village
September 14-15, 2022

Few places have as much character, storybook charm, and unspoiled beauty as the Sturbridge Townships. The Townships offer an abundance of great shopping, dining, breathtaking countryside, and of course, Old Sturbridge Village, the largest outdoor living history museum in the Northeast.

Highlights of this Tour Include:
• Overnight accommodations at the Publick House Inn ~ one of New England’s greatest historical inns and part of the Historic Hotels of America family
• Tour Old Sturbridge Village ~ costumed historians, antique buildings, water-powered mills, a working farm, and so much more depict what life in an early 19th-century New England Village was like – explore over 40 authentic buildings, exhibits, collections, heritage breed animals, and even see historic recipes prepared at this living history museum
• Take an off-the-beaten path tour of the Quaboag Hills area with a local guide ~ travel over quaint back roads with rambling stone walls, tall white steeples, majestic maples, and colonial homes, while learning more about the intriguing history of the area
• Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Salem Cross Inn - a restored 18th century farmhouse nestled on 600 acres of New England countryside
• Stop at Brookfield Orchards ~ walk through the orchard and fill your bag with fresh and juicy apples, then stop at the nostalgic country store for penny candy and unique antiques
• Visit Oakwood Farm Christmas Barn ~ a unique collectible emporium filled with Christmas enchantment that is a delight at any time of the year
