The two most important factors in successfully meeting your breastfeeding goals are knowledge and commitment. In this class we will discuss what to expect when parenting a breastfed infant, how to prepare to breastfeed, pitfalls and "booby traps" to avoid, and where to go for support and help along the way.This class is for the expectant mother and her partner, and will use handouts and dialogue to teach how to set your family up for breastfeeding success, normal newborn behavior, safe sleep, and how to correct common problems in the early days.Cost is $60/per couple.There is a Baby Care Basics class on the same day from 1-3 pm. We have scheduled these classes so you are able to take them both on the same day with a lunch break in between, if you desire.***For payment: please call (214) 484-1737 during business hours.
