| Details: | Join us for a casual and messy clay experience at Speckles+Splatter! In this intro session, an instructor will teach you how to “throw” and glaze a clay pot on a spinning pottery wheel. The session will last 1-1.5 hours and includes all of the clay, tools, and supplies needed to make your masterpiece. The completed pots will be dried and fired and can be picked up in about 3 weeks.
*This class is designed for ages 12+ and is limited to 6 seats.
*Please wear clothes and shoes that can get a bit messy. For the best experience, please trim your fingernails as longer nails will make throwing very difficult.
*Our goal is for all participants to finish their pots. If necessary, we can finish and paint a pot for an additional fee (if interested, ask your instructor at the end of the session).
*The pots made in the session will not be food safe and are intended to be decorative (if interested, ask your instructor how to make a pot food safe). |
