Live out-of-state?
You do not need to be a resident of Delaware to apply. The Delaware DOC offers free temporary lodging to cadets who reside more than 75 miles from the Training Academy in Dover while they attend the Correctional Officer academy.
Minimum age to apply is 19 ½ years old. There is no maximum age limit.
The State of Delaware does not require a Civil Service Exam.
