Guided crafts are taught by Nellie Huggins from Early Childhood CARES
Nellie grew up in the Midwest, where she developed a love of good comedy and good pizza. Oregon became home in 2014, and since then nature and hiking have become central in her life. Nellie has twenty years of experience working with young children and a background in Journalism, Drama and Early Childhood education. Most recently she owned her own preschool in Eugene and she currently works for Early Childhood CARES as Parent Outreach Coordinator, helping to connect families in Lane County with needed services. One of Nellie's greatest joys is connecting with children through storytelling and art. In her free time Nellie enjoys hikes with her dogs, cooking delicious food for loved ones and propagating one of her 100 houseplants to share with friends.
