The Clamshell Quilt Guild of Waterford, CT is presenting our “Quilts All Around the Town” quilt show at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1650 CT-12, Gales ferry, CT, 06335 on October 2-3, 2026.The Guild will be exhibiting over 150 quilts made by Guild members. Along with the quilt display there will be quilt vendors, demonstrations throughout the day Friday and Saturday, baskets, a mystery bag sale, a sewing machine drawing, and a large boutique area. The basket drawing will take place on Saturday at 3PM with tickets on sale throughout the quilt show. During the quilt show, raffle tickets will be on sale for a queen-king size quilt called “Ocean Waves”. The quilt was designed and pieced by Guild members, and custom machine quilted by Scarlett Atkins. There is a full color photograph on the Clamshell Quilt Guild website. The quilt will be on display and raffle tickets available at various quilt shops in the CT, MA, and RI area through June, 2027. Raffle tickets can be purchased from Guild members and participating quilt shops as well as during the quilt show. Proceeds from the raffle ticket sale will be donated to various community charities and the Clamshell Quilt Guild’s Education Fund. The quilt raffle drawing will take place during the monthly Clamshell Quilt Guild meeting at 8:00 PM on June 16, 2027 at the Temple Emanu-el, Waterford, CT.
