| Details: | Sumner Fest in Hendersonville, also known as The City by the Lake as it borders picturesque Old Hickory Lake, is Sumner County’s premier hot air balloon festival! Sanders Ferry Park, also nestled on the shoreline of Old Hickory Lake, is the idyllic backdrop for a celebration filled with food, fun, and non-stop entertainment as hot air balloons color the sky and provide breath-taking aerial views of the surroundings. In just its second year, Sumner Fest has established itself as a must-do event in Sumner County. Bring lawn chairs/blankets to watch the hot air balloons take off and enjoy their beautiful glow! There will also be tethered hot air balloon rides available.
