Note: Continuity is important for keeping the circle of community. Renée asks that you commit to attending the entire series.

Are you ready to systematically approach a new piece of Nia choreography each week? Ready to dive into deep conversation and exploration of how you live Nia in your life and in your teaching? This group experience provides you with week-by-week support, professional guidance, good cheer and friendship within a small, personalized context.

You will learn the choreography of each song, set against the musical map of the bars of new Nia routine: Resilience.

Resilience Routine

The body is resilient. Human beings are born resilient. Nia movement and Nia routines provide the perfect map to develop body and life resilience skills.

The routine RESILENCE will teach you to become aware of mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual resilience, and help you develop the skill of using imagination to enhance moving and support systemic movement. Imagining your core as a “trunk of the tree,” your feet as “roots of the tree,” your arms as “branches of a tree,” and your fingers as “leaves of the tree” will help to engage your whole body and help you establish the physical resilience to dynamically move in and through space.

Use this body of work to engender a resilient, one-of-a-kind dancing spirit!

Benefits of Mentorship with Renée

Participants in Renée’s mentorships series have evolved from never teaching into teaching single songs as guest instructors; to teaching partial or whole classes as subs; to teaching classes of their own; to starting a new studio! Experienced teachers find new inspiration and insight mentoring with Renée and fellow mentees.
