ALive 2023: Live No Lies
This year, three ministering brothers plan to speak during the event over the theme, “Live No Lies”, inspired from the book by John Mark Comer. These speaker sessions will be centered on combating deceptive ideas (Lies of the Devil) that play to disordered desires (Lies of the Flesh) that are normalized in a sinful society (Lies of the World). In this cultural moment, we are bombarded by lies, and thus, our speaker sessions will focus on practical ways to combat these lies through the same spiritual disciplines Christ exemplified for us, such as prayer, reading the Scriptures, silence, solitude, fasting, confession, and many others. We look forward to a spirit-led weekend of instruction and fellowship with the brotherhood to learn more about these foundational concepts given to us from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
