| Details: | Adults & Teens can only register multiple times if they are committed to attending.
Volunteer sessions will be limited to 5 trained Adults and 5 trained Teens per session.
Statement of Purpose
Rocky Mountain Lions Club members have adopted Champ’s Heart Non-profit and are coordinating volunteer opportunities for adults and teenagers 13-18 years old.
It is the mission of Champ’s Heart to improve the lives of children with cancer, disabilities, or special needs through encounters that share the healing nature of horses. Champ’s Heart does not offer equine therapy, but rather an opportunity for children and their families to interact with and reap the benefits of encounters with horses.
Volunteer Paperwork & Waivers
Before you can participate volunteers must complete all the information found on the Champ's Heart Website at www.ChampsHeart.org/volunteer
1. Read the Champs Heart Volunteer Handbook
2. Complete the Online Application
3. Complete & Return the Adult Background Check if 18yo+
4. Print & Sign the Registration Summary Sheet
5. Complete a schedulded Volunteer Training session with Larry Cudmore |
