| Details: | Celebration is the largest gathering of Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian peoples, drawing thousands, including up to 2,000 dancers. It includes associated events, such as a Juried Art Show, Native artist market and parade, spread over multiple venues.
The lead dance group will be Lepquinm Gumilgit Gagoadim Tsimshian Dancers (Our Own Dance in Our Hearts), a multigenerational group from Anchorage formed in 2005.
The event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. |
