Team arKCanite and Mindgames and Magic, of Lees Summit, MO have teamed up and invite you to participate in Planet arKCanite 2023! This Warhammer 40K event will comprise a 2000-point Battle-Forged Grand Tournament, hosting 100 competitors, over 2-days and 6-rounds from March 18-19th. This event will be included in the one-of-a-kind Planet Comicon Kansas City, at the Kansas City Convention Center in Bartle Hall, Kansas City, MO, spanning the weekend of March 17-19. This event will be unique and potentially the first of its kind in that tables will be alternating, between Player Placed Terrain and GW Standardized Terrain, based on which table you are paired into. We believe this gives an extra level to the competitiveness in that competitors must be prepared to play on both competitive formats.
Tickets for the event will be $90 ($110 if purchased after March 2nd), which will include the 2-day Grand tournament entry, access to Planet Comicon Kansas City, regularly $100, along with a swag bag, prize support and more. Terrain: Will be both Player Placed and GW Standardized. Note for Player Placed, large ruins will block line of sight on the first floor. Large ruins will need to be placed 6 away from all other terrain pieces, along with 4 from everything else other than terrain and board edges.
