This series is called Caregivers, which is about contemporary masculinity. As conceptions of what it is to be a man are changing, and becoming increasingly more nebulous, the contemporary man has a greater burden and freedom to decide, discover and shape identity. What must be negotiated is which parts of historic conceptions of masculinity are to be discarded or cultivated; can certain positive traits be parted from toxic behaviors or are they inextricably conjoined?
