Details: | Jazz and Patriotic Salutes on Program for Symphonic Band Concerts. The Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches welcomes back guest artist Stephen Giove for two performances of “The Commander Returns!” on Saturday, May 10, 7:30 p.m., at Duncan Theatre in Lake Worth, followed by a repeat performance at Eissey Campus Theatre in Palm Beach Gardens on Saturday, May 17, 2025, 7:30 p.m. Tickets ($25) are available by phone at 561-832-3115 or online at www.SymphonicBand.org.
Chief Warrant Officer Stephen Giove, the #1 Marine Corps jazz drummer and a native of Hol lywood, Florida, has performed for millions of people around the world in every setting from wind ensembles, rock and top 40 bands, orchestras, Broadway and theater shows, to jazz combos and big bands.
Program highlights include “American Salute,” “Basie Straight Ahead,” “Troll Dance,” Sousa’s “Semper Fidelis,” “America, the Beautiful,” “St. Louis Blues March,” “Armed Forces Medley,” “Espirit De Corps,” and Sammy Nestico’s arrangement of “Malagueña.”
