Come on out for our Wednesday Night Bellydance Fundamentals Class - the Basics of Egyptian Raqs Sharqi with Safiya 6:00 to 7:00 PM throughout April May. We are setting aside 8 weeks for this session.

Drop In Students Welcome!
This is a Class all about Technique and Foundations.
Safiya will be teaching the Basics of Egyptian Bellydance.
ALL LEVELS of students are welcome!

This Session is focusing on \"Raqs Sharqi\" (aka; Eastern Dance, Oriental Dance, or Classical Bellydance; that is designed for the stage) students will learn a bit about the history of Bellydance as a stage show, and get the chance to hear and dance to classic bellydance music.
Turns, Traveling Steps, Directional Changes, Level Changes, and all the things that help glue the rest of the dance together will be discussed, and practiced!
It's kinda like taking out all your dance tools, cleaning them up, and greasing them.
