| Details: | 56 th Annual Georgia Mineral Society Gem, Mineral, Jewelry and Fossil Show. May 9th thru 11th, Cobb County Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Pkwy, Marietta, GA. Admission and parking are free. Starts Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 10am-5pm. There will be 40 vendors selling minerals, fossils, jewelry and related artisan creations. Grab bags full of minerals and fossils are available for $4.00. Be sure to sign up for the door prizes which are given away several times per hour. Also, there will be a silent auction every 2 hours throughout the day with amazing items up for bid. Demonstrations and interactive classes.
