| Details: | Roni Lahage, Master Gardener and director of Horticulture for the Marshfield Agricultural and Horticultural Society, will give a free talk on how to grow flowers and veggies at home easily, no matter your skill le.
Talk will cover selection of varieties for flowers and veggies, location selection, best choices for beginners, what to do to get started, maintain and harvest your food and flowers, and even talk about it you want to enter what you grow in the fair to win prizes.
Whether gardening on a balcony, a raised bed or a large garden plot this talk will help you get the most our of your efforts and guide you on your rewarding journey to grow things!
There will be some free seeds given away to those who participate.
Talk begins at 10:30 am at the Marshfield Farmers' Market (in the far back) Time to shop before and/or after the talk the 20+ vendors of food, farm products, and select artisans. Live music, free admission/parking, Easy stroller/wheelchair access. |
