Join MUD for our Women-Led Introduction to Carpentry Workshop! This workshop will give you an overview of a variety of common carpentry tools and the opportunity to use them while you build your own project with the guidance of MUD staff and volunteers. We will meet for two days, Saturday and Sunday from 11am-4pm with a half hour lunch break!

Participants should come prepared with materials and a small carpentry project in mind. We will email you some project ideas in advance and we are happy to answer any questions you have to make sure your project will fit within the scope of the workshop. If you're feeling unsure on how to purchase your materials, your instructor Kathleen will be in contact two weeks in advance to answer any questions!

This workshop is designed to be welcoming and inclusive to all individuals, regardless of previous knowledge, skills, or gender identity. You will leave feeling capable and empowered to complete carpentry projects on your own!
