| Details: | The RCFM is a Producer-Only farmers' market located in the indoor/open air Community Center at the Lane Agri-Park in Murfreesboro.
The Rutherford County Farmers’ Market is open from the second Friday in May through the last Friday of October from 7am to 12 noon every Tuesday and Friday. Market vendors hail from over a dozen Middle TN counties and sell a wide variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, meats, eggs, baked and canned goods, flowers, plants and more. The RCFM is held at the Lane Agri-Park Community Center at 315 John R. Rice Blvd. in Murfreesboro (just down from Sam's Club & TSC, next to PAWS), conveniently located between Old Fort Blvd./Franklin Hwy (I24 exit 78) and Fortress Blvd. (I24 exit 76 with various car dealerships) with the entrance on Agri Park Drive.
The RCFM is a Producer-Only farmers' market located in the indoor/open air Community Center at the Lane Agri-Park in Murfreesboro. Since 1975, our mission has been to support economically viable, producer-only farming operations in Middle Tennessee while also ensuring the availability of fresh produce and other farm products to members of the Rutherford County community and surrounding areas.
We accept cash, credit, debit, and SNAP/EBT payments at the market. WIC vouchers are accepted by participating vendors in July and August. Our convenient location offers ample parking, secure bike racks, clean restrooms, and a friendly, community atmosphere.
In addition to providing a great place for local farms to sell their products, we also offer "Come n' Go" informative sessions to the general public every market day 9 - 11 am in the lobby. Topics range from sustainable gardening, cooking, food preservation, and environmental education to local topics of interest taught by extension personnel and community partners. The Master Gardeners of Rutherford County are available 9 am - noon in the demonstration garden for questions and tours.
NEW in 2023 ”ARTISAN FRIDAYS” - Local artisans are anxious to share their wares with the community on Fridays throughout the market season. You’ll be able to find treasures of all kinds including: soaps, jewelry, sewn items, woodwork, baskets, leathercrafts, home décor, artwork and so much more. In October we’ll have the 7th Annual Fall Market & Arts Festival, in conjunction with the TN STEAM Festival, with artisans in attendance each market day.
