MINKA:
Funky, electronic, rockdance..jazz..sexy..Japanese inspiredwell, there's really no way to fully capture the experiences and sounds of Philly-born band, MINKA. But if you want to let your imagination run wildlet's pretend some scientists got in the lab and crossed Bowie with Prince, and then sprinkled in some Talking Heads.
Fantasy Non Fiction:
Fantasy Non Fiction features the original music of drummer/vocalist Rose Cangelosi. FNF raises the bar for drummer-led projects, with complex rhythmic styles that complement the contagious melodies. A kaleidoscopic pallet of musical influences illustrates the strikingly honest songwriting, employing an impressive array of hooks that recall 70s power-pop, 00's indie rock, classic R&B, and twentieth-century jazz standards.
