Watercolor is a tradition that dates back to cave paintings. The ancient Egyptians used water-based paints to decorate the tombs and on papyrus paper. Asians painted on silk. And during the Middle Ages, European monks used tempera to create illuminated manuscripts. This exhibit covers a wide range of subjects including landscapes, cityscapes, floral, portraits, animals and more.

Visitors to CMAAA will be allowed to vote for their favorite art piece with the People’s Choice Award winner announced at the close of the exhibit. |
