| Details: | Join us around the table saw!
Each month, join ISM for coffee and an in-depth discussion about the traditions of wooden boat building along the Delaware River. Our skilled shipwrights will lead detailed discussions of current projects in the shop while highlighting methods, materials, and history of the regions vessels.
The main focus of this series will be highlighting the work the Boat Shop is doing on crafting a full-scale, 40-foot replica of a Durham boat-the very type of vessel that George Washington and his army used to cross the Delaware River on Christmas night in 1776 at Washington Crossing Historic Park. To learn more about the project, click here!
The cost to attend is $10 for non-members and free for members. |
