| Details: | The Justice and Peace Committees are excited to co-sponsor two dinner and a movie events in August.
On Wednesday, August 5, well screen The Quilters, an award-winning short documentary about men in a Missouri maximum-security prison who design and sew beautiful, personalized quilts for foster children.
On Wednesday, August 12, well screen All the Empty Rooms. In this short documentary, a journalist and a photographer set out to memorialize the bedrooms left behind by children killed in school shootings.
Well gather at 5:30 pm in the Good Samaritan Room to watch the films, then share a simple meal and engage in table discussions. The formal program will conclude in time for attendees to participate in the Taize worship service at 7 pm in the Chapel. Please be advised that the program content is most appropriate for adults and older children.
