Erebus Haunted Attraction was founded by the Terebus’ brothers Jim and Ed, veterans of the haunt industry since 1981. Choosing to make Downtown Pontiac’s Art and Entertainment District their home, Erebus established itself in 2000. It has gained national recognition and awards as being one of the top haunts in the nation as well as earning the Guinness Book of World Records for the worlds longest walk-through haunted attraction from 2005 to 2009 as well as USA Today voted Erebus as the 1# Haunt in the Nation in 2019. Erebus’ creative ingenuity in Halloween entertainment has both visual and audibly captivated, on average, audiences of 40,000 people annually from all around the world, helping to revitalize downtown Pontiac’s tourism sector. Setting the bar high, this four story haunt gets your blood pumping with spectacular state of the art Hollywood special effects that send chills down your spine. At just over a half-mile, this indoor walk through attraction serves up a wickedly thrilling, edge of your seat experience that brings with it, unforgettable laughter and screams.
