Details:The need for community and connection in schools is more crucial now than ever before. Enter Restorative Practices. Traditional systems of punishment and expulsion are inequitable and ineffective.

But how do we support systematic shifts in mindsets and practices that lead to more restorative systems? How do we build the collective capacity of educators, students, and community members to navigate this change?

GSP's two-day in-person training session will:

Introduces educators to key skills and considerations for building and sustaining restorative practices at the school and district levels

Provide opportunities for active engagement and practice

Offer a framework for effective implementation across diverse and individualized contexts.

This is not a sit-and-get class, but rather an opportunity for participants to engage with each other through an active series of discussions and activities.

Outcomes
Develop a clear understanding of restorative practices and effective strategies for implementation.

Collaborate with like-minded educators to build capacity and share best practices for restorative justice in schools.

Begin to create a structured plan to integrate restorative practices within your school and\/or district.
