Description

Join us for a weekend-long camp diving into the fundamentals of technical gravel cycling - while exploring the rustic dirt roads of the beautiful Slate Valley.

We’ll help you take your riding to the next level through a variety of workshops and skills sessions. We'll hone in on bike-handling on mixed-terrain surfaces, and also explore a range of other topics including: building your endurance stamina, cornering and descending on rough and loose surfaces, body positioning, training & racing, on & off the bike nutrition, recovery, field repairs, route finding & navigation, and dialing in your gear set-up for maximum efficiency. The camp is also an opportunity for women to identify areas of personal growth and set goals, connect with like-minded riders, and learn from experienced mentors in a highly supportive and fun environment.

Connect with new friends, take your training to the next level, finally ask those questions you've been too shy to pose, and gain the skills and confidence to send the rough and tumble sections at your next Overland!

Level: This camp is ideal for riders who have some gravel riding experience, or intermediate or higher experience on a road or mountain bike. In order to get the most out of our time together, you should be able to ride at a casual to moderate pace (think 10-15mph) for 2-3 hours.
