Ryan Stark is a local plein air advocate and knowledgeable in most commonly used media in plein air painting. This work group is for everyone. If you're an absolute beginner Ryan can help you get started on your painting and how to continue it.Ryan is adept at and can give guidance for color theory, brush choice, how light works in natural settings and general tricks to make the desired image happen faster. If you're already a seasoned pro at painting you can look at this as a sort of gym buddy where we go to a surprise place that you don't have to think about. We meet at nevada fine arts so everyone can get any last minute needs they may have and go to a location from there for about two to three hours.

Suggested donation: $20 (goes directly to the instructor). Everyone is welcomeno one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Supply List:
items can be purchased at Nevada Fine Arts. Mention you are taking a class and receive a 10 discount.
- Something to paint on paper (booklet or canvas)
- Somethings to paint with (suggest a large flat, small flat, large round, small round)
- Something to wash your brushes off with

Other things that are also nice to have:
- An easel
- A brimmed hat to block the sun
- Water and an easy to eat snack if you need
- Comfortable weather appropriate clothes you don't mind getting paint on

Whatever paint you'd like to use is fine. I suggest smaller amounts of options for paint. Three is a commonly used amount of paint options for many artists but its to your taste and desire
