Who can audition?
If you’re an early elementary through high school student for the upcoming school year, and you are currently active in your school music program (as they exist), you are eligible to audition. Musicians accepted into OYO are expected to remain active in their school music programs. It is strongly suggested that OYO students take private lessons to promote individual growth. Visit the audition page on the website for specific information about audition requirements.

How do you sign up for an audition?
Beginning April 8th, 9am, go to the website audition page to sign up for the date and time that works best for you!

Cost?
There is no cost to audition. If accepted, there is a modest tuition fee. Tuition Aid is available.

About OYO
Established in 1975, OYO, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), has become one of the premier orchestral education programs in southeastern Michigan. Our alumni include both professional musicians and those who have pursued other careers while keeping the joy of music in their lives.

Through our weekly rehearsals and concert performances OYO students develop lifelong skills of teamwork, commitment, organization and musicianship. Our conductors encourage a high level of musical advancement within a supportive environment.
