Join us over at Magic Time Machine for some Commander fun. Wing specials after 7pm. Find many people to play with until closing in some casual Commander!

We will be hosting Competitive Pauper Commander:

-FREE to play
-Pod play with 3-5 person pods scaled to attendance
-Prize for the "last person standing" in each pod
-Gameplay begins at 7pm

Commander Pauper Deck Structure:
-100 card format
-only one copy of each card with the following as exceptions:
-basic lands
-cards that state clearly that any number of that card can be played in a deck
example: relentless rats
-99 card deck, all cards must be common.
-1 commander, being any uncommon creature spell.
-Planeswalkers are not valid as commanders unless stated otherwise on the card and must
be of uncommon rarity.
-All cards in the 99 MUST belong within the commander's color identity.
-Card rarity includes both online and paper rarities. A card only needs a single "printing"
(online or paper) at a rarity to be valid.
-In the event that your Commander is able to partner which must be stated on the card, then
deck size is adjusted accordingly to 98 cards/2 Commander Partners.

Gameplay
-Multiplayer format
-Games start at with players having 30 life
-Lethal COMMANDER damage is 16
-The commander is placed in the command zone, and can be cast from there at any time,
as if in hand.
-When commander changes zones, it may be placed back into the command zone.
-After the first cast, there is a 2 mana tax or additional cost, for each time your commander
was already cast from the command zone.
-If a commander deals the full commander damage cumulatively or all at once to one player
over the course of the game, that player loses, despite the remaining life total.
-Each players Life count and commander damage must be tracked and visible to all players.

Your Commander
-Cards that have the ability Partner With will function the same as EDH commanders.
Two commanders that partner with each other may be used as partner commanders.
-If the commander has an alternate casting cost then you can cast him for the alternate cost.
Note however that commander tax is applied to that cost.
-If the commander has an alternate casting mode then you can in general cast either mode
from the command zone. Note however that commander tax is applied to that cost.
-In regard to ADVENTURE spells, both the adventure and the creature share the commander tax,
caring only about how many times combined they were cast from the command zone.

The following cards are banned in Pauper EDH:
-Mystic Remora
-Rhystic Study
-All cards that refer to the ante mechanic
-The following cards that Wizards has removed from constructed formats

Cleanse
Stone-Throwing Devils
Pradesh Gypsies
Jihad
Imprison
Crusade
