Green beans are almost ready! Tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, triple sweet corn, and watermelons, freeze dried apples, freeze dried strawberries, jams and syrups will soon follow.

Farmer Kent and Farmer Jen invite you to join our Healthy Harvest CSA membership. Pick up a healthy harvest weekly in Fairlea, Beckley, Oak Hill, Alderson, Lewisburg, Charleston, Union, Dawson, and Hinton, and monthly in Logan, Mercer, Wyoming, & McDowell counties.

Our Healthy Harvest CSA program is crafted to foster long-term sustainability, ensuring that both farmers and community members reap shared rewards while mitigating risks together. By investing in local farms, you are playing a vital role in strengthening food security for our community. Thank you for your support!

With your membership, you'll enjoy weekly or monthly deliveries of delicious and nutritious harvests starting now. You have the flexibility to skip weeks if you are traveling or need a break for any reason. Simply double up on another week to make up for any missed weeks. If you are late signing up, no worries. You can double up to catch up.

For $10 per week or $40 per month, expect to savor packages of premium fruits and vegetables from Sunset Berry Farm all summer long. We also accept WIC, senior vouchers and SNAP ebt. Pay with SNAP here on GrownBy. Call or text Farmer Jennifer at 304-646-3784 to arrange payment with WIC or senior vouchers.

Buy 1 CSA, Get 1-3 FREE when you pay with SNAP EBT as follows:

Adults buy 1, get 1 free.

Adults with kids buy 1, get 2 free.

Seniors buy 1, get 2 free.

Seniors with grandkids buy 1, get 3 free.

Our mission is to provide you with a nourishing bounty that delights your palate while being easy to manage. Before each pick-up, you will receive a comprehensive list of the items we anticipate harvesting that week. At pickup, you’ll have the opportunity to select your items personally.

We encourage individuals to purchase 1 share. Families of two are invited to buy 2 shares, while families of three should opt for 3 shares, and so on.

Here are the crops we expect to have for the remainder of the season...Remember, you can mix & match however you please, so if you don't like an item, you aren't required to take it. For example, if our famous triple sweet corn is your favorite and you want all your items to be corn, go for it. If you don't like green beans, feel free to take extra of something else! Or if you like to can and want all green beans, help yourself to a bushel. We will text you the day before pickup. Respond to let us know which items you would like to enjoy.

While we strive to cultivate, nurture, and harvest these products, we respect the unpredictability of Mother Nature and cannot guarantee 100% success for every item.

Although our products are not certified organic, you can take pride in knowing that we employ sustainable practices such as crop rotation, mulching, the use of beneficial insects, companion planting, and cover cropping. We follow stringent food safety guidelines and apply chemicals sparingly—only when absolutely necessary—to maintain the health of our crops.
