| Details: | 2021 STOCK CAR WINTER HEAT POINTS SERIES
All Upstate Speedway rules, tech and race procedures will be followed.
ProTrack Stock Car Rules will be in effect.
Tracks for each race will be selected by Upstate Speedway and announced at least a month prior to each race.
Points will be awarded by the number of cars entered on each day/event of racing.
ie: 11 cars sign in equal 11 points to the winner of the “A” main. 2nd place = 10 points, 3rd place = 9 points, etc.
ie: 6 cars sign in equal 6 points to the “A” main winner, 5 points to 2nd place, 4 points to 3rd place and so on.
½ point will be awarded to the CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE winner each race. Criteria will be 1) Most closely resembling an authentic race care, 2) Best looking/condition
Trophies will be awarded for 1st through 5th based on total accumulated points.
Other awards may be awarded at the discretion of Upstate Speedway and other sponsors for places 6th through 10th.
There will be “NO DROPS”. Each race date is a point’s paying date. All racers will have “1” point added to their total for perfect attendance.
Weather, Acts of God, Death, or Family illness will/can dictate any cancellations of said events. Upstate Speedway Race Director discretion.
Race dates are as follows: Saturday’s were deemed the best day in the winter to race. Practice starts at 10:00 am, racing at 11:30 am. Other classes can/will race after the PROTRACK SERIES. |
