Psychedelic Freedom Conference 2026

Whether you're deeply involved in the psychedelic space, exploring these conversations for the first time, or simply curious about where this rapidly evolving field is headed, you are welcome here.

Join us Saturday, October 3, at University Plaza Convention Center in Springfield, Missouri, for a full day of education, conversation, connection, and community at the 2026 Psychedelic Freedom Conference: Knowledge for the Front Lines.

This year's conference brings together 25+ speakers and panelists representing a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives?from healthcare, therapy, neuroscience, research, law, public safety, veterans, harm reduction, psychedelic facilitation, integration, advocacy, and lived experience.

Together, we'll explore psychedelic medicine from multiple angles, including emerging research, mental health and trauma, therapeutic applications, neuroscience and neuroplasticity, law and policy, harm reduction, ethics, integration, first-responder and veteran experiences, and the evolving role of psychedelics in our communities.

You don't need to be a professional or an expert to attend. Whether you're a clinician, first responder, veteran, student, researcher, therapist, facilitator, advocate, community member, or simply someone who wants to learn more, this conference was created to bring people together for thoughtful, grounded conversation.

Keynote Speaker: Lt. Sarko Gergerian

We're honored to welcome Lieutenant Sarko Gergerian as this year's keynote speaker.

A veteran police lieutenant, licensed therapist, educator, and national voice in conversations surrounding psychedelics, mental health, and public safety, Sarko brings a unique perspective to Knowledge for the Front Lines?exploring what responsible and compassionate approaches can look like at the intersection of mental health, healing, public safety, and community care.

Special Guest: Shane Mauss

We're also excited to welcome award-winning comedian and science communicator Shane Mauss for a very different kind of conference experience.

Throughout the day, Shane will moderate several panel discussions, bringing his signature combination of humor, curiosity, and thoughtful insight to conversations around psychedelics, consciousness, science, and the human experience.
