This remarkable group of hometown musicians has deep roots in Springfield, performing with beloved local bands like The Pleasure Seekers, The Pure Pleasure Band, and The Champion City Trio since the 1970s. Many have also shared the stage with iconic artists such as Peabo Bryson, John Mellencamp, Ronnie Laws, Norman Connors, Rick James, The Drifters—and even Springfield’s own John Legend.
Tonight, these legendary musicians join forces with the Springfield Symphony to honor the rich musical legacy of our community. It’s a heartfelt celebration of the artists who came before, those they've played with, and the spirit of Springfield music. We’re thrilled to have you with us for this extraordinary journey.
