Details: | Family Saturdays Every Saturday in January, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM Different themes every month!
Families can participate in themed, self-guided activities at the History Museum every Saturday of the month! Each month will feature a different focus that lets you do the work of history, collaboratively.
Well provide a handout with prompts and ideas; you bring your family, curiosity, and time to explore!
January theme: Just the facts! How do peoples opinions shape the images they create? Practice identifying points of view in political cartoons, posters, and more.
February theme: What stories do maps tell? People use maps to record their ideas, share information, and find their way. Join us at the museum to learn more about maps of the place we now call Washington.
Included with general admission. Purchase online or at the museums admissions desk. Free for WSHS members. |
