| Details: | Join us for a relaxing midweek music break during the fifth season of Music in the Courtyard, a free concert series in the beautiful Historic Pima County Courthouse Courtyard.
Presented in partnership with Pima County Attractions Tourism, Visit Tucson and the Tucson Jazz Festival, this live music series brings local talent to the heart of downtown Tucsonperfect for a midday break, lunch outing, or cultural escape in your workday. Featuring a rotating lineup of Tucson Jazz Festival artists and regional performers.
Vocalist Sarah Tolar is known for her expressive lyric delivery and charismatic engagement of audiences. Deeply connected to the jazz tradition and rooted in the great singer-songwriters of the twentieth century, Sarahs compositions effortlessly blend genres. Sarah has recorded three full-length albums of original music and toured Eastern and Western Europe, China, Canada, and the United States. Sarah earned a Masters degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas before moving to New York City where she was based for nearly two decades. Tolar relocated to Tucson, Arizona in 2022, and enjoys a busy performance schedule in the Southwest and NYC. |
