Positioned at the top of the world, the Arctic Circle makes up about 4% of the Earth’s surface. Currently comprising of numerous countries, various arctic animal species, and home to over 4 million people, this area has been inhabited by people for thousands of years. Only in recent times have detailed and recorded explorations taken place in efforts of finding passages through it or setting historic milestones within it. The Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum is proud to present "Chronicles of the Arctic Circle" as our 2020 - 2021 Winter exhibition. Come explore the wilds of the beautiful and dangerous North through the stories and accomplishments of the past.

Not only will visitors be able to view the "Chronicles of the Arctic Circle" exhibit, they will be able to contribute to it by helping the museum create a Winter Wonderland! Snowflake doilies will be available inside the museum for decoration and coloring and will be hung from the ceiling to simulate an arctic snowstorm. Sanitation of all art materials will take place throughout the day to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols.

When visiting the museum, remember to wear your mask so it covers your mouth and nose and practice social distancing. Groups may not exceed six (6) unrelated individuals at a time.
