| Details: | Come learn the art of blacksmithing in historic downtown Washington. The only Certified Artist Blacksmith in Georgia, Patrick Blount, is now offering classes in basic blacksmithing at the Greenhow Handmade Ironworks, LLC shop located at 123 North Jefferson Street. All blacksmith classes will focus on a particular project that the student should be able to finish in the day’s course, all while learning basic blacksmithing processes. Classes are open to students 13 years of age and older. Students under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign the release for them. Classes start at 10:00 AM and run to around 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break.There are many restaurants within walking distance of the shop. All courses include all materials and tools.
