| Details: | This is an opportunity to give a coat or get a coat!
Location: WATERFORD, Community Presbyterian Church, a block north of Dixie Highway on Sashabaw (at Monroe).
** GIVE a coat: Anytime through Sunday, November 30. There is a collection box at the main doors on Monroe Ave.
** GET a coat: Tuesday, Nov. 18, 10-2 p.m.; or Saturday, Nov. 29, 10-2 p.m. They will be hung up inside the building.
Clean, gently used (or new!) coats/jackets are accepted. All sizes are needed--small kids, youth, and adults. Coats not given away in November will be given to local organizations.
The late Helen Sargent started this mission about 25 years ago to honor her late husband, Charles, who always had a heart for those who were in need. |
