Details: | Between 1941 and 1946, many wonderful Saturday Evening Post Covers were created by some of the finest artists of the period. Many covers dealt with subjects relating to the Home Front, reflecting how Americans reacted to World War II. Among those artists, of course, was Norman Rockwell, other talented illustrators, such as Mead Schaeffer, John Falter and Stevan Dohanos, helped capture a seminal period in American history with humor, pathos, and insight. This engaging exhibit consists of approximately 60 original covers from the Wright Museum’s Permanent Collection.
