| Details: | Some of the great sounds we will hear emanating from great spaces during this series are ones that we will be visiting with Joe during 2026. The first three of the series will take us to Vienna, Austria (In the Footsteps of Mozart in late April 2026); then we'll visit London, where Joe led his first trip with Artful Journeys in 2018; then onward to Leipzig, site of THE Bachfest, Leipzig, which Joan attends every year; next south to Germany for Bayreuth; then to Milan and Cremona in northern Italy, where Miguel Rodé will lead us, and finally to Paris, where we will be journeying in October of 2026, to visit the refurbished Notre Dame.
?The spaces Joe will show us come in all different sizes and shapes and materials, and they all produce great sounds in different ways. How does sound bounce off curved plaster differently than it does off a teak wood plank? We'll tackle all sorts of questions like these.
