| Details: | Join Lynn as she helps you to create compelling paintings using innovative techniques, experimenting with color, and interpreting the landscape through shape and pattern. Learn how to simplify the vast natural beauty of Italy and find the perfect subjects to paint or draw.
This workshop is designed for beginners as well as advanced students, and the methods can be applied to both representational and/or abstract landscape drawings and/or paintings. Lynn will be demonstrating in acrylic, but you may use the medium of your choice.? The week-long workshop will be a combination of outdoor sketching and painting, studio time, and excursions to visit the area.
Accommodations: Agriturismo Cavazzone is located in the small town of Viano, outside of Reggio nel Emilia. At Cavazzone, we will be fortunate to have many vistas from which to paint, including from the gazebo, pictured above. In addition to the painting schedule, we’ll have a demonstration of the balsamic production and a cooking lesson. We’ll go into Reggio for the farmers market, which will give you ample opportunity for sketching and/or photos |
