Minimum salary for adjuncts NOW!
Join IEA Higher Ed members for a Day of Action in Springfield. We will hold a rally at IEA HQ and head over to the Capitol building to lobby our lawmakers and advocate for a minimum salary for adjunct faculty.
Please note, IEA members are responsible for transporting themselves to Springfield. Carpooling is encouraged and members will be reimbursed for mileage or train tickets.
Tentative schedule (subject to change):
9 a.m. - Arrive in Springfield
9-10 a.m. - Instructions for lobbying
10-10:30 a.m. - Rally at IEA HQ
10:30 a.m. - Short walk to Illinois State Capitol Building
11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. - Lobby at the capitol building
12:30 p.m. - Members return to IEA HQ for lunch
1:30 p.m. - Members depart Springfield |
