As our Advertising Associate, you will drive Compass brand awareness, visibility and affinity through press coverage and Paid Media campaigns on our Brand and Agent’s behalf. Your focus will be in local real estate, lifestyle, academic and business publications within the Region, and the relationships you have and build will be critical to our success. You will develop and drive Brand press strategies and secure organic media coverage that drives business results. You will also execute and be the externally-facing lead for our Advertising programs for the Region. Where bandwidth allows and the job requires, we may also lean on you to lead press-focused events and partnerships on the Company’s behalf.
The ideal candidate for this role is a highly motivated, proactive and creative self-starter. You excel at client service and create opportunities to promote your agents and company even where they didn’t exist. You have familiarity and existing relationships with the press, and you are tenacious and action-oriented.
What We're Looking For:
A highly-motivated self-starter with a strategic and creative orientation
Someone who is intuitively organized, solutions-oriented and scrappy
Demonstrated success and experience in public relations with existing relationships with media; ideally you have some Media experience too (though not required)
Excellent writing, interpersonal and public communication skills
Flexibility, creativity and the ability to be a collaborative team player
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure is essential
Bachelor’s degree in related course study such as Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Public Relations or equivalent experience
5+ years of Public Relations experience |
